We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Long Beach, CA. Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Oversee the monthly payroll process in partnership with HR.
- Identify process improvements and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
