Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for executive review
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial processes
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and documentation systems
- Collaborate with FP&A team on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor relationships
- Oversee tax compliance filings and coordinate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Excel
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
- Strong leadership experience with cross-departmental collaboration
