Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial integrity. Your daily tasks will include:
- Manage general ledger functions and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings in collaboration with external auditors.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations for cost savings.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Streamline internal financial reporting systems and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and a drive for excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
