Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures during the weekend cycle.
- Perform audits of financial documents for errors and discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
