Responsibilities
- Perform accurate daily and weekly bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Process payroll for weekend staff accurately and on time.
- Prepare and send weekly invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Assist the senior accounting team with month-end closing procedures.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) to update ledgers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar cloud-based accounting platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or CPA preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions.
