Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, specifically during weekend shifts.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage time-off requests for the weekend workforce.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist with tax preparation and audit support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (2+ years).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work eligibility.
