Responsibilities
- Perform weekly accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and data entry.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts weekly.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and P&L statements.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure all timecards are accurate for weekend staff.
- Maintain organized and accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial documentation.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance reporting as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
