Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform weekly bank reconciliations, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Accounts Management: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including verifying invoices and issuing payments or collecting receivables.
- Payroll Administration: Assist in the preparation and calculation of weekly payroll reports.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements, trial balances, and variance analysis reports for management review.
- Compliance & Tax Support: Maintain organized tax documentation and assist with quarterly and annual tax filings.
- System Management: Maintain and update accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) and spreadsheets (Excel) with precision.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; High school diploma required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel (Advanced), and other accounting software.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (e.g., Saturday or Sunday) consistently.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
