Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter and code invoice data into the accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or errors.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, electronic transfer, or ACH.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and internal processes.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional for office work).
