Responsibilities
- Process and verify high volumes of invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage vendor relationships, including resolving payment discrepancies and answering inquiries.
- Reconcile AP statements and bank accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Utilize ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks) to maintain up-to-date ledgers.
- Prepare and analyze monthly AP aging reports for management review.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and audit support.
- Streamline workflows to improve efficiency and reduce processing errors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage experience is a plus).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and reconciliation principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
