Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for Louisiana operations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Prepare and file federal and state tax filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Louisiana state tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
