The Role
In this role, you will take ownership of our weekend accounting cycle. You will ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately, bank accounts are reconciled, and financial reports are generated without errors. Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card closures for the weekend period.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Identify and resolve financial discrepancies and errors immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and trial balances.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts within the accounting software.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliation and payroll basics.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with high accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
