Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist the finance department in budget forecasting and cash flow management.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate status is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and payroll compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
