Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness before weekend processing runs.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with internal departments.
- Prepare and execute weekly ACH and check payments for the weekend cycle.
- Manage and maintain accurate digital and hard-copy filing systems for AP records.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing questions and payment status.
- Assist in month-end close procedures specific to weekend transactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle preferred).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation principles.
