Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end closing processes during the night shift.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.
- Assist with the monthly payroll processing and expense reporting verification.
- Conduct internal audits of financial data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a night shift or back-office environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
