Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are recorded correctly and reconciled.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Prepare variance reports and provide insights to management on financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
