Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, and checks.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all AP documents.
- Communicate with vendors to clarify billing questions and resolve payment holds.
- Assist in month-end close procedures by preparing accruals and aging reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during weekend shifts.
