Job Summary
As our Weekend Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records during the critical weekend close cycle. You will work closely with our full-time finance staff to maintain compliance and optimize cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely month-end and weekend close procedures.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare financial reports and variance analysis for weekend review.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with high precision.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper is required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekends.
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday shifts.
