Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of all general ledger entries.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with strict attention to detail.
- Prepare and file required tax documents and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Previous experience working a weekend shift is highly preferred.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
