Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage complex general ledger operations and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and implement process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Lead tax preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain robust financial documentation and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial data to stakeholders
