Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing of financial transactions
- Prepare detailed financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for executive review
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Maintain fixed asset registers and coordinate depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
