Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
- Review and approve journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and company policies.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes with precision and speed.
- Respond to financial inquiries and audit requests with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the weekend shift.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
