Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and California state financial regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in SF Bay Area
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
