Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and expense reports for the weekend workforce efficiently.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures to maintain fiscal health.
- Prepare financial reports and variance analysis for executive leadership review.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and fixed asset schedules.
- Review and code incoming invoices, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc data analysis and reporting needs.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a weekend shift capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
