Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account analysis for the weekend cycle.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Collaborate with the full-time finance team to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper (1-3 years preferred).
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. work authorization required.
