Responsibilities
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for the week.
- Prepare weekly financial reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Assist in the month-end close procedures during the weekend shift.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Reconcile credit card statements and identify discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain organized, secure digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Ability to work independently and accurately during weekend shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with the core team.
- CPA certification is a significant plus but not required.
