Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-of-week closing procedures, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare weekly financial reports and assist in variance analysis.
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support the finance team with month-end close activities and audit preparations.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional office travel.
