We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Weekend Accountant to join our dedicated team. The Role
As a Weekend Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting our accounting operations during our peak operational hours. You will work closely with our finance team to maintain compliance and streamline financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with precision.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Process payroll for weekend staff and vendors accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday (full days).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
