Responsibilities
- Perform weekend reconciliations and financial reporting for 15+ client accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with weekend deadlines
- Prepare month-end closing reports and variance analyses
- Assist with quarterly audits and tax documentation preparation
- Maintain digital accounting records using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with weekday finance team on cross-departmental projects
- Ensure compliance with Maryland state financial regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication and time management skills
