Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
- Support payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Organize financial records and ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Utilize QuickBooks for transaction recording and account maintenance
- Collaborate with senior accountants on month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial terminology
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
