Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and Louisiana state tax laws
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Maintain organized financial documentation in secure systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of tax preparation and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
