Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and reconciliation of accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for review
- Process payroll and expense reports with weekend deadline adherence
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with auditors during weekend engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of accounting experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong Excel skills with pivot table expertise
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Texas residency required for compliance
