Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to maintain a clear financial picture.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.
- Assist in the monthly and annual close processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
