Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile weekend transactions including ACH transfers, wire payments, and weekend deposits
- Prepare weekend financial reports including trial balances and cash flow statements
- Perform weekend bank reconciliations and account analysis for 15+ client portfolios
- Assist with weekend payroll processing for hourly employees
- Support month-end closing procedures during weekend hours
- Implement weekend controls to ensure financial compliance and audit readiness
- Collaborate with weekday accounting team for seamless workflow continuity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial operations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and weekend transaction protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on weekends
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and weekend filing deadlines
