Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable payments.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and financial spreadsheets.
- Support external auditors during the annual audit process by providing documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of basic tax schedules and financial reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of professional experience (internships accepted).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
