Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and process improvements
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives with stakeholders
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide strategic financial guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record in month-end close and financial reporting
- Advanced knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
