Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with strict adherence to internal controls
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental alignment
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Enterprise and SAP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience managing complex reconciliations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of California tax regulations and compliance requirements
