Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Lead audit coordination with external auditors and prepare required documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain internal controls ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Prepare tax filings and manage tax compliance for assigned entities
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle/SAP)
- Proven experience managing audits and complex reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems preferred
