Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and implement process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across financial operations
- Collaborate with tax advisors to coordinate quarterly tax filings and planning
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems with audit-ready documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA knowledge and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting for mid-sized companies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
