Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with high precision.
- Process and invoice financial transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial records, both digital and physical.
- Assist the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
