Responsibilities
- Analyze creditworthiness of corporate and commercial borrowers through financial statement evaluation and cash flow modeling
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports with detailed risk assessments and recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential risks
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations (FIRREA, BSA) and implement compliance procedures
- Present complex credit analyses to senior management and credit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Expertise in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, ratio analysis) and Excel proficiency
- Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial statements and industry trends
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders
- Series 63/66 licenses (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
