Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounting systems with zero-tolerance for errors
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports with actionable insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing for 15+ clients
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online workflows for efficiency gains
- Conduct comprehensive bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support tax preparation and audit processes with organized documentation
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online certification
- Proven expertise in multi-entity accounting and complex reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and financial reporting tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and Colorado state tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial records
- Ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing financial presentations
