Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Process and verify accounts payable invoices and expense reports with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Manage accounts receivable collections and prepare aging reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform general ledger entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with internal audits and prepare supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing CPA certification).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships count).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
