Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for Wisconsin businesses
- Implement cost-saving measures and process improvements
- Lead month-end closing procedures with zero-tolerance for errors
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Proven track record of managing multi-state payroll systems
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or construction accounting a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
