Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct internal audits and ensure GAAP compliance for 50+ corporate entities
- Lead tax preparation processes for multi-state operations
- Develop financial models for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff on financial best practices
- Collaborate with executive team on budget forecasting and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing $50M+ annual financial operations
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
- Strong leadership abilities with cross-departmental collaboration experience
