Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations while implementing internal controls
- Lead cross-departmental projects to optimize financial processes
- Mentor junior accounting staff and maintain documentation standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector mix
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
