Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid and collected efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with annual tax preparation and audits, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
