Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely vendor/client payments
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement process enhancements to streamline accounting workflows
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated success with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Proven experience managing financial reporting deadlines
- Active CPA license or pursuit of certification
