Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (AZ, CA, NY)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and union contributions with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Prepare and file quarterly/annual tax forms (941, 940, state unemployment)
- Onboard new hires and maintain employee payroll records
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping system improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent platform expertise
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, AZ labor laws, and IRS regulations
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Proven ability to handle confidential data with discretion
- Experience with union payroll and complex deduction scenarios
