Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (AZ, CA, CO)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies monthly
- Generate payroll reports for finance and HR leadership
- Support year-end tax filings (W-2s, 1099s) and audits
- Train HR staff on payroll processes and system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR-related field
- PHR/SPHR or CPP certification preferred
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and garnishment laws
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven ability to meet strict payroll deadlines (bi-weekly)
- Experience with HRIS integration (Workday, BambooHR)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
